We are building a completely new handslide for this instrument.All dents have been removed and the instrument has been restored to its original finish. Satin silver plated bell assembly with gold plated bell interior and bright silver plated handslide. The bell is also marked US, indicating that it was constructed for the armed services and was a military band instrument during WW II. The custom linkage features miniball connectors and dual spring action on the F lever. The main tuning adjustments are made on the handslide.  Conn 90G trombonium:
What the heck is a trombonium?? It's a valve trombone wrapped sort of like a euphonium, that's what! Sort of a tenor horn thing, sort of... the bore measured on the second valve tuning slide is .564, three front action valves and the upright bell. This horn is really considered a valve trombone by the Conn company, the term trombonium was actually used by the King company. this has the same bore as an 88H slide trombone. Uses a large shank trombone mouthpiece. Comes with the original case.
