Hans Hoyer Double French Horn:

Though we try, its difficult these days to find affordable brand name double horns that are not ether stupid expensive or totally beat to a pulp. We think this one is an exception to that rule. Holton 183 "Merker Matic"
Ser. No. 661XXX. Excellent university level double horn that is endorsed by the famous Ethel Merker of Chicago Symphony fame. This yellow brass instrument is close to like new condition, very few small dents and light scratches. An outstanding double horn for the aspiring young musician on a budget. Ser no. H27XXX (mid 1960's, made in Elkhart IN) In overall very good condition, the instrument has a couple of very minor dings and the lacquer is about 60% intact, alos has Amado-style water keys on the mouthpipe and tuning slide. A great playing horn! Comes with original hard case.

Outstanding handmade professional instrument! Unlacquered yellow brass, with plenty of nickel silver trim. We figure the manufacture date to be from early 1950's. This horn is in excellent condition.

Holton H280 Double French Horn:
Serial No. 532XXX. This horn is made of solid nickel-silver "guts" with brass bell and bell branches, excellent horn for large or small ensemble playing. The bell has been converted into a detachable flair and much of the lacquer removed. This is a good playing horn, not much to look at but a good playing horn nonetheless!

Conn 8-D Double French Horn:
Serial No. L55XXX. This Elkhart 8D is in good condition with only minor dents and wear. It comes from around 1968 and plays very well. It has been chemically cleanded and the rotors have been addressed so they are tight and smooth.

Serial No. 420XXX. This is a great playing horn with minimal wear on it. We are not sure of the age as the bell seams to have been replaced.
